This time around, it’s going to be bigger and better. The festival features some of the biggest country acts in the nation, including Thomas Rhett, Riley Green, Gabby Barrett & Conner Smith. Next year, some of the biggest country music performers will travel to the City of Trees once again. Taking place the weekend following Sacramento's growingly popular rock music event, Aftershock, GoldenSky is attempting to establish itself as a major draw in and of itself. In the same way as Aftershock has grown to include four days, GoldenSky will add a third day in 2024.
The newest country music festival craze to hit the West Coast will feature three days of music, along with other attractions. This includes the GoldenSky Beer Festival, River City Saloon & Dance Hall, Sacramento farm-to-fork cuisine options, local artists, official festival pre- and post-parties, and more.
“The initial two years of GoldenSky have been truly exceptional, from the incredible artists who graced our stage to the warm embrace of Northern California fans. We are thrilled to announce our expansion to a three-day event as we approach our third year and are excited to introduce Luke Bryan, Thomas Rhett, and Keith Urban to the GoldenSky family,” said Chamie McCurry, Chief Marketing Officer at Danny Wimmer Presents.
The official lineup for Day 2 of are as follows: Thomas Rhett (headliner), Riley Green, Gabby Barrett, Charles Wesley Godwin, Conner Smith, Sam Barber, Hunter Hayes, David Nail, George Birge, Hannah Ellis, Tanner Adell
Thomas Rett, headliner of Day 2, is well-known for songs like "Marry Me" and "Die a Happy Man." He was named male vocalist of the year at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2017. This guy has had an outstanding career and has written for the likes of Jason Aldean ("I Ain't Ready to Quit"), Florida Georgia Line ("Round Here") and Scotty McCreery ("Write Your Number on My Hand").
